Manchester City’s new teen sensation Gabriel Jesus could be out of action until next season.
The 19-year old Brazilian, was withdrawn at the 15th minute mark after breaking a leg bone in the club’s 2-0 victory over Bournemouth on Monday. Gabriel joined City in January and has scored 5 goals hence.
Gabriel has undergone a successful surgery in Barcelona but it still might take two to three months before he can be seen on the pitch.
“Last night, he made an operation and it was good,” Guardiola said. “Now it’s important he recovers well and he’s going back when he will be fit, at the end of the season or next season.”
Pep added that Manchester City has played well with Gabriel but also without him. He also said that it might be tough for the team but they can win games without Jesus.
